Mawenzi Computer Systems (MCS) was founded in 2008 by Sammy Nsami Msafiri who until then had been working for a leading tour operator in the East African Region (Somak Travel Limited). In his capacity as a senior computer systems analyst, designer and developer Msafiri had for over 15 years developed software solutions for the company that has offices in Nairobi, Mombasa and Arusha. With his vast knowledge and experience in Computer Systems, Msafiri opted to start his own business after completing and graduating with Msc. In Information Technology Management from Sunderland University (U.K), conducted in collaboration with Jomo Kenyatta University of Arts and Technology at Juja, Kenya.
